Where It All Began
Shark Dog Co was founded in Georgia by mother-daughter team Jewel and Rachel, and was inspired by their dogs - Ted, Norah, and Harper.
What began as a search for a better-fitting bandana for our own dogs slowly grew into Shark Dog Co.: a brand centered around handmade slip-on bandanas designed for dogs who like to be by your side no matter what you're doing.
Whether they're spending the day on the water, going for a walk, chasing each other around the yard, or repping your favorite team on game day, we wanted bandanas that could actually keep up with real life.
Made For Real Life With Dogs
We loved the look of classic tie-on bandanas, but not the constant retying, awkward sizing, or the way they never seemed to stay on for more than five minutes.
So we designed something better: Comfortable, slip-on elastic bandanas that are easy to wear, easy to wash, and easy to move in.

Inspired By Our Dogs
Ted - our logo dog - along with Norah and the late Harper, inspired many of the collections that make up Shark Dog Co. Each dog also has their own signature collection. All three were foster fails who became family, and they continue to shape the heart of our brand every day.
